Death In The Family

i have incredibly mixed feelings right now

last week i got word my uncle on my dad's side was in hospice and isnt doing so good

today i got word he died the day after i was told 

my uncle passed a week ago

but what he had wasnt instant

had i been told sooner

I could've spent time with him and cherish it

but no

they waited till the last moments to tell me

there was no chance to see him in his final moments

I am on incredibly bad terms with my dad and his side of the family but the few aunts and uncles there

am I in the wrong for being incredibly mad at them ....

atleast my uncle isnt suffering anymore , may he rest in peace and know he will always be loved
may i never forget the memories I have with him of those happy times
